What We Collect
Chillstreams collects only the minimum data necessary to provide the service:
- Email address – For account management and Stripe billing
- API credentials – To generate your custom manifest
- Settings & preferences – To configure your addon manifest
- Analytics – PostHog tracks how you use the configuration interface (clicks, page views, feature selections). We do NOT track what you stream, watch, or do with third-party addons.
What We Don't Collect
- Your IP address
- Streaming activity or viewing history
- Data between your Stremio client and third-party addons
- Search history or content consumption data
How We Use Your Data
- Generate and deliver your custom manifest
- Process billing through Stripe
- Improve the service through analytics
- Maintain your account
Data Retention
- Email & account data: Kept while your account is active. After deletion, retained 3 years for tax/billing compliance, then removed.
- API credentials: Deleted immediately when you remove them or delete your account.
- Analytics: Retained per PostHog's policy (typically 30 days).
- Settings: Kept while your account is active, deleted with your account.
Security
We use standard security practices including encryption and access controls to protect your data.
Third-Party Services
We use Stripe (payment processing) and PostHog (analytics). Both are GDPR-compliant. We do not share your API keys with anyone except the third-party service you intend to connect to.
DMCA & Copyright
Chillstreams is a configuration aggregator that does not host, stream, or store any copyrighted content. We only process configuration data and addon manifest generation. Any copyright or DMCA concerns related to content sources should be directed to the respective third-party addon providers, not Chillstreams. We comply with valid legal requests and will remove cached referenced data where applicable per applicable law.

- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your account and associated data
- Object to analytics processing
